Hello,
I just installed openSUSE and I got a problem with the crackling and popping sound. It is very annoying and it almost makes music and movies unenjoyable.
The weird thing is that this sound problem seem to only appear on the integrated sound card from the back of the PC, the one with the jacks in the front works just fine.
After some research of the problem I tried adding “tsched=0” in /etc/pulse/default.pa on the line
load-module module-udev-detect
and then restarted, didn’t worked.
Also tried disabling Pulse Audio, no succes.
Also, when I play the test sound from YAST > Sound it doesn’t seem to have this problem. I played that sound about 1 minute and didn’t get any crackling. When I’m listening music or anything else crackling and poppings appear like every 10 seconds or less.
I would really need some help with this.
