CPU usage

Hi,

I have installed in my computer (sony vaio vgn-b1xp) the opensuse 11.1 . However when I lock the screen the cpu usage passes for 100% . Anyone knows why this happens and how solve this situation?

thanks

Disable all screensavers

Thanks for the reply caf4926.

In the menu “System->Look and Fell->Screensaver” I have unchecked the item “active screensaver when computer is idle”. However, if I do not look the screen but if I let the computer stopped, without do anything after 10 min the cpu usage is 100%.

Anyone knows why this happens and how solve this situation?

If you post the output of top we may be able to see what is going on.
Just open a console type top and post the results here

I have to remove Beagle?

What is dbus-daemon? when Beagle start the dbus-daemon also start? What can I do to solve this problem?

thanks.

don’t touch dbus. it’s essential for many other processes. just remove/delete beagle

Or disable the indexing during idle time.
