Couldn't find Live image configuration file

Hi there,
I’m getting this error trying to install Live GNOME 32bit v11.3 or 11.4 build 11:

Couldn't find Live image configuration file

I’m installing from a USB stick. I can install v11.2 the same way no problem. USB stick created using SUSE Studio Image Writer and Win32DiskImager give same results.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I used this method - How to Install SUSE to a USB Flash Drive | USB Pen Drive Linux and it worked. I used the Gnome Live CD and not KDE Live CD when I did this. Then I clicked the Install desktop icon to install to local disk but you could just continue to boot from the USB device if you wanted to as well.

When you download the Live Gnome version did you verify the checksum? I’ve seen where on an occasion the download was corrupt and re-downloading and verifying the checksum corrected the issues.

Hi there,
I don’t want to install to a USB stick but from a USB stick. My laptop doesn’t have a CD drive. The download checksum is fine. SUSE boots up from the USB stick but shortly after selecting “Installation” from the main menu it goes to text mode, shows the error and reboots 2 minutes later. I also tried to use the first option to start it up but it comes up with a different error, “can’t enumerate USB device” or something of the sort. I guess I have to stick to 11.2 or use a different Linux distribution.
