could not start D-Bus, can you call qdbus

I have installed

  • opensuse 12.1 64.bit
  • NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-270.41.06
  • actual KDE

When I want to login als root on KDE I get the following error at login-screen
Could not start D-Bus, can you call qdbus

My Grafikcard is NVIDIA GT 520

Never ever log i as root to a GUI, period.

You can do everything needed as a normal user using su, sudo or kdesu from the command line. There is no need to log to the GUI as root and it can cause damage even if you are careful. So just don’t do it. I suspect that the error is caused buy a previous log in as root.
