So I picked retry, and then the update did finish.
This happens sometimes. I normally do what you do, perhaps do not even wait 20 mins, and things go well afterwards. I do not think it is normally something to worry about, unless it persists.
Please always include the line with the command. Now we have only output, but we have no idea what you did to get it. Do not make it more problematic for your potential helpers.
When you use a non-English system and want to post here in the English section, then precede your command with LANG=C, e.g.
I had already posted in my first post, I was doing zypper dup.
I also set the terminal to English.
~> sudo zypper dup

If you ignore (with “I”), then when it has finished downloading it will tell you that there were errors and it skips actual installing. You have to rerun the command for that (which uses the packages that you already downloaded).
You might instead try “r” (for retry). If that works, it will be the easiest.
I might have found a fix, but I do not understand it fully.
What I have done is turn off the modem, and turning it on after a min or so.
Although this was to fix a problem with windows 10, this seems to have fixed the update issues on openSUSE too.
I just did an update (zypper dup) and it was as fast as it should be. More important though, no errors.
:\
The part confusing me is you tube and such was working fine, there was only an issue with a game in a virtual machine, and the openSUSE update.
Both with the same symptom, it worked for the most part, but was very slow, and needed multiple attempts.
Something to remember though. If updating openSUSE is suddenly giving issues, try turning off the modem for a bit.
Under some circumstances an old configuration in the modem or router can interfere with a new configuration. If in doubt completely delete the old data before creating a new connection. Depending on the make of your router the procedure may require a second computer or temporarily renaming the host.
I did a speed test, and all seems fine again. Ping 5 ms, 15 Mbps up 150 Mbps down.
But more important openSUSE update is fast again.
Maybe I have missed an email from my provider. Telling me to turn my modem off for a bit to get updates.
I do not know if the modem software also gets an update, but when the subscription speeds go up, I always have to turn the modem off for a bit to get those faster speeds.
Looking at those numbers makes me happy. Once they were 5/50, then 10/100 and now 15/150
