After I install suse64 11.0 (DVD version), all the file in the CDROM could not be identified by Windows XP, but file in DVD can still be identified. (WINXP and Suse was installed in the same PC). The vendor of CDROM/DVD driver is LG.
However the file in CDROM can be read by Suse.
In addition, when I try to install the winxp system again, but now, the CDROM even can not bootup. Before install SUSE, this problem did not happen, so the hardware should be ok. I am not sure whether SUSE had change some configuration or not.
Assuming that you have install opensuse on other partition than Win XP than opensuse have changed nothing to Win XP
drivers.
Neither did opensuse changed anything to you’re hardware configuration.
Did you not change by accident the boot order in you’re BiOS.
So in my opinion check in you’re BIOS if the CD OR DVD is still the first boot device.

after install the suse64 11.0 using DVD installation image, the cdrom driver could not identify CD whose file system is ntfs, however when I insert the suse 11.0 installation CD, this CD can be identify.
even go back to window XP, the situation is still the same:
DVD can be identified
CDROM with XP file system could not be identified
CDROM with SUSE file system can be identified.
So it seems that after the installation of opensuse, it make some change to the systeam, however I don’t know what does it change?
I try to totally re-install the system using winxp, however even the XP CDROM could not bootup. I can make sure the CDROM is the first boot driver in BIOS setup, however it seems the content in the XP CDROM could not be read out.
I can make sure this XP CDROM is correct, because I can read in another pc, and even had burn a new CDROM, it still could not be identified. However SUSE CDROM can be identified.
