Could not find any application or handler for davs://test.sample-domain.org:2078

Installed Konqueror, clicked on webdisk script, get the following error:
Could not find any application or handler for davs://test.sample-domain.org:2078

Using Dolphin I get;
Invalid protocol

I have not used webdisk in many, many years. The last time was in KDE 3.x.

I have no idea what’s needed for the client end of things.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Try with replacing davs by webdav

Not familiar with ‘davs’, did you mean ‘davfs’? In which case you will probably need to install davfs2 or wdfs. The latter is the one I use to mount external WebDav filesystems.

There’s a package called davfs2:

pluto:~ # LANG=C zypper if davfs2

    resources on a Web server without knowing anything about HTTP or WebDAV.

May be worth a try installing it. I didn’t find anything related to davs.

Edit: Hmm, didn’t work here.

I’m not using KDE but without anything fancy installed, Thunar (4.16.11 here) does handle WebDAV shares.

I think I have what you try to use. Dolphin shows it as

webdavs://.................

So maybe your protocol name is wrong.
