COSMIC session not working when logging in

I am an openSUSE lover, and so I was really excited when System76 packaged COSMIC for openSUSE. I love COSMIC, and so I immediately went:
sudo zypper in opi
opi patterns-cosmic-cosmic
sudo zypper in cosmic

I installed COSMIC with factory, then rebooted, logged out, chose COSMIC in lightDM (btw my main DE is Xfce), and logged into COSMIC. What do I get? A black screen attempting to type something but nothing happening. I have to reboot to get back to lightDM login screen, and I’ve tried uninstalling, reinstalling, doing the patterns-cosmic-basic, doing both, and nothing works. I have Pop!_OS 24.04 with COSMIC Alpha 4 installed as a dual-boot and it works perfectly fine so I assume it’s an openSUSE issue and not a COSMIC Alpha 4 issue.
Any feedback would really be appreciated!
Ty in advance!

Edit: If it helps, I have an ASUS Vivobook Flip 14, Intel i7 1165G7, Intel Iris XE MAX Graphics, and the 6.12.6 Linux Kernel.
