2 Problems:
Problem: 1: the installed cosmic-player-0.1.0+git20240702.52b9439-18.2.x86_64 requires 'libavcodec.so.61(LIBAVCODEC_61.3_SUSE)(64bit)', but this requirement cannot be provided

Solution 1: Following actions will be done:
  keep obsolete libavcodec61-7.0.2-2.3.x86_64
  keep obsolete libavformat61-7.0.2-2.3.x86_64
  keep obsolete libavutil59-7.0.2-2.3.x86_64
  keep obsolete libswresample5-7.0.2-2.3.x86_64
  keep obsolete libswscale8-7.0.2-2.3.x86_64
  keep obsolete libavfilter10-7.0.2-2.3.x86_64
  keep obsolete libpostproc58-7.0.2-2.3.x86_64
 Solution 2: deinstallation of cosmic-player-0.1.0+git20240702.52b9439-18.2.x86_64
Solution 3: break cosmic-player-0.1.0+git20240702.52b9439-18.2.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies

Not sure if this is an issue on openSUSE’s side or COSMIC’s side. I have chosen to deinstall COSMIC Player for now due to already having Haruna.

Cosmic player needs some outdated library versions, which are not available anymore in Tumbleweed. As alpha tester, you should report this issue to the relevant devs.

It failed to build. You can examine logs and decide whether it is packaging (openSUSE) or upstream issue.

Given that there is already a patch in the openSUSE repositories to get cosmic-player to work with ffmpeg-7.0, probably openSUSE.

Apparently cosmic-player has switched over to only officially supporting GStreamer, making this a packaging issue.
