copying disk image k3b

Hey,
I’m currently trying to copy a disk image with .VOB video files on a disk with k3b.
It wouldn’t create an .iso image for some reason it wouldn’t pass 80% in the completion bar.
Probably the software can’t create a disk image ISO from the .VOB files.
How can I add multiple .vob video files to an iso file so I can watch straight through.
Is there some sort of software that converts .VOB files to an .ISO file?

where are you saving the iso?
check if you have enough hard drive space, the old windows fat filesystem can’t handle files >2GiB
A VOB is an mpeg2 file, ISO is a CD/DVD image so no you can’t convert a VOB to ISO but you can put a VOB in an ISO.
You can try using handbrake and convert the VOB to mp4 or mkv for easier storage and transfer (they’re smaller)

Im saving the ISO directory in my videos folder.
Yes I have enough hard drive space with at least 100 gigs.
Is there a alternative way with development tools to make VOB files run like an ISO when its burned to a CD/DVD so I wont have to select different parts of the movie?
You know so that its runs through without having to switch video parts of the whole movie.

you didn’t say what file system those 100Gigs wore using if it’s an external drive it probably has fat, fat can’t handle files bigger then 2Gib
do you have libdvdcss installed, it might be needed (not really sure)
you can try using a different ripping application like k9copy

zypper in k9copy
