COPY/MOVE not longer displaying graphically

My A31p running 13.1 KDE 32-bit, no longer displays copies or moves graphically. How can I get this behavior back again? Thanks!

Please elaborate: is the notifier not working, not in sight? Did you by any chance maybe disable the notifications?
Are we talking stock KDE, i.e. as it comes with the distro and updates. or are KDE repos included? Please show output of

zypper lr -d

, between CODE tags, the # in the editor

Another possibility would be that there’s still another (invisible) notifier in the configuration, that grabs the notifications (but doesn’t show them because it isn’t visible).
In that case you should remove the plasma-configuration as explain in your previous thread.

Or post the file here (maybe via http://susepaste,org), then I can take a look and see if I can find what’s causing this and should be removed.

But please check first that the notification applet is there and notifications are enabled, as Knurpht suggested.
Do you get other notifications?
Click on the small up-arrow next to the clock, the hidden systray icons should popup. Is there the notification applet (an ‘i’ enclosed in a circle labelled “Notifications”)?
Right-click on that icon and select “Notifications Settings”. Are both checkboxes activated?

I may have disabled the notifier but don’t know how that may have occurred. Maybe I need help re-enabling it. Thanks!

I’ll look into posting the plasma-configuration file after reviewing the previous thread.

There is the notification applet and both checkboxes are activated.

You should disable repo #3 it is the DVD and should no longer be active. Note that this will not help your KDE configuration problem I don’t think but it will keep things straight in the future.

Done. Thanks!
