Post a screenshot of what you see in the partition manager, in such a way that we can see your partitions
Like this example: SUSE Paste

Assuming that the system is just installed and there is nothing of value
stored there, I would simply delete the partitions and start again.
Delete partitions, expand windows from inside windows, install linux again.

Personally I would backup your files in openSUSE and then use windows to delete everything except sda1 and make windows the size you want. Leave the free space unallocated and use gparted to create your suse partitions, then insstall again.
*When you delete openSUSE partitions, windows will fail to boot next reboot.
so what i need to do, or what i software i need for…can state the steps clearly…because i’m newbie
- Get you files backed up from openSUSE. People usually do that to an external HD. But if there isn’t much, you might be able to copy them to a folder in the windows partition.
- Get yourself a copy of Parted Magic: Parted Magic | Free software downloads at SourceForge.net
Burn it to a CD and make sure it works first.
- Make sure you have a openSUSE install media
Now from windows:
- Use the windows partition manager to delete all partitions except sda1
- Re-size sda1 to your desired size and leave the remaining space unallocated
Now, you need to boot the Parted Magic CD and run the Partition Editor Gparted (Remember, you cannot get to windows now, until you install openSUSE again)
-
With the unallocated space re-create the extended primary to use all the unallocated space
-
Now create logical partitions in the extended space as follows
-
swap 2GB
-
ext4 20GB
-
ext4 ???GB (this will eventually be for /home, so make it to use all the space that remains)
-
Apply
Once done we can power off and then bootup with the openSUSE install media
Now just follow the principles of this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10573557/12.3_install_complete/12.3_install/12.3_slideshow.pdf
Once done you will again be able to boot Windows
