Console yast via Mac terminal

Hi,

this is most probably not a SUSE issue but a Mac issue - anyway:

I have a rather bad DSL connection at home, hence I have to use terminal or NX to access my SUSE at work from my Mac.

When I use yast via ssh in the Mac terminal, the Alt-keys don’t work. Hence I was not able to toggle the service modes. Cursor keys work fine - F-keys worked not properly.

Has anyone a hint for me?

Terminal -> Preferences -> Keyboard -> Checkmark “Use option as meta key”.

And now enjoy working alt key.
