OpenSUSE comes with Samba pretty much ready to go. “Samba” is the Linux speak for “networking with windows”. You just have to turn a few things on like: open a passage through the firewall, make the workgroup names the same on all machines, give your computer a network name-- and so on – follow the tutorial and ask questions if you get stuck.
