connect Epson XP-610

Hello,

I have an Epson XP-610 wireless printer, which I can also print to by
usb. On my first laptop (see below) I easily print to this printer
whenever I like. It is set up in Yast with a connection socket at
192.168.1.10, and uses the driver Epson XP-750 series.

Unfortunately, I cannot for the life of me remember how I got it to set
up and work, except that I think I just found the driver, entered that
IP in the yast connection wizard, and printed a test page, and it worked.

So now I am on a new laptop, and the XP-750 drivers didn’t even show up
in the yast connection dialog, so I went to epson and downloaded epson
linux drivers for the xp-610.

Since then I have tried connecting by USB and connecting by wireless,
and it doesn’t print either way. When I connect by USB, the connection
wizard does detect the printer, but it won’t print anything.

I’m going to try this again. I downloaded and installed the Epson rpm
for my printer. Then, I stopped the firewall. By so doing, I was able to
automatically detect the printer, and it automatically came up with
these parameters, as I copied them from Yast:

Then I ran a test page, but it didn’t print or move. Here is a section

That’s only part of it. But if you look there, you can see that the main
point where the error is seems to be “Can’t open CUPS raster file.DEBUG:…”

So I connected the usb cable a 2nd time, this time detecting the printer
with the firewall off, and this time also not being able to print.

My printer connected by the USB has the configuration:
