conky displays fuzzyly in 13.1 x86_64 gnome 3.10.

conky displays fuzzyly in 13.1 x86_64 gnome 3.10.

Former information can not disappear completely.

My video cards are intel hd3000 and nvidia optimus GT550M, and I have installed bumblebee.

Is this the matter of video card?

This is my conky screenshot : http://imagebin.org/290235 .

Thanks

Hi
Sure it’s not your conkyrc file overlaying lines? Can you post the
config at http://paste.opensuse.org/

Hi
I would say looking at the config and also running it, it’s just a
configuration issue (as in needs adjusting), probably with the screen
resolution you have perhaps. What is your screen resolution?

Hi
Had another quick look, if you change own_window_transparent to no it
should start to work. There is also a missing ${endif} after the
ppp0 section.

In outer screen 1920x1080 and notebook screen 1366x768 , both have the problem.
Of course, choosing own_window_transparent to no will conquer this , but will lose transparent.
The same .conkyrc can be used under ubuntu 12.04 successfully.

Thanks

Hi
Then I would guess it’s related to GNOME shell vs Unity?

Hi
I had to increase the bg_alpha=0.80 in the lua script for it to work on
my system.

Hi
Hmmm, try setting the option;

own_window_argb_visual yes

With my conky I get;

The original conkyrc was tested ok in ubuntu unity .

I try add own_window_argb_visual yes to conkyrc, now it is ok in opensuse13.1 gnome 3.10 .

I do not try bg_alpha=0.80 in that lua file.

Thanks very much !

Ps . How to remark the post as SOLVED ?
