Confused with file sharing

Hi there,

I know that this is easy, but I am confused.

I have three computers all with a clean install of SUSE 11.2. Two of them use wifi with the internet and the third is wired.

I would like to share files between them all of them.

When I go to dolphin/network there is nothing there and I don’t know how to set it up.

Could anyone give me a link or explain the next steps I need to take?

Thanks

Dick.

You can use either the nearly-native Linux file sharing called NFS or the windows type called samba.

NFS is in the docs that came with openSUSE, in the filesystem at this location
/usr/share/doc/manual/opensuse-manuals_en/manual/book.opensuse.reference.html.
Open book.opensuse.reference.html in your browser and goto NFS.

Samba is introduced here: Samba LAN Primer
