configuring online update frequency - 11.3

Hi folks,

Not sure this is the right place and I feel really stupid for asking this but,…

I want to change the frequency of the online update checks but, for the life of me, cannot find out how.

During install, I can configure it but I now want something different. I thought that there was a topic with yast under software but no. Only “online update” which basically give me manual update.

I click on configure but same screen appears.

How I have got so lost?

Cheers - AK

If you use KDE it is in kpackagekit. I have no english KDE so I do not guide
you now through the clicks in the control center, but simply do the
following:

Press [ALT] [F2] and type kpackagekit then press [ENTER]
In the settings you can change it.
If you have another desktop I do not know right now where to change it.

PC: oS 11.3 64 bit | Intel Core2 Quad Q8300@2.50GHz | KDE 4.6.2 | GeForce
9600 GT | 4GB Ram
Eee PC 1201n: oS 11.4 64 bit | Intel Atom 330@1.60GHz | KDE 4.6.0 | nVidia
ION | 3GB Ram

I am soooo stupid - sorry. That was 11.4. Ignore it.
In 11.3 do you see the symbol of the updater applet?
Click with the right mouse button on it, in the context menu you can select
to change its settings.
