Configuring a Network connection on HP Mini-Note PC

I’m a Mac user (self-weened from Windows 18 months ago) who has always been interested in knowing more about, and using, Linux. I just bought an HP Mini-Note PC with Suse Linux installed. I love what I’ve seen so far. But, I’m trying to configure a wireless connection to the Internet from my home network, which runs through a Belkin router and my Apple Airport Express. With my Macs at home, and also with an Asus laptop I have that runs Windows, I have no problem detecting my wireless network and getting onto the Internet. I can’t seem to get Suse Linux to connect to the Internet. I would appreciate any guidance you could give me. Just fyi, I’m not a techie or programmer, but educated (a Ph.D.), so please provide me with simple instructions. I would be deeply grateful. Many thanks in advance.

This posting should have been in the Wireless Sub-Forum. If you look
there, you will find a sticky entitled “My wireless doesn’t work - a
primer on what I should do next”. Read that and post the requested
information on the Wireless Sub-Forum.
