Configure neofetch

Hello, I am a bit of a noob in OpenSuse since I just installed it just a few hours ago but I have tried using kitty and adding an image as I would do in any distribution that I have used and it has not worked for me, I have changed the following values:

image_backend=“kitty”

image_source=“ascii.png”

FWIW, most of us here for the purpose of responding to help requests are in the habit of asking for various iterations of inxi rather than neofetch. Inxi is 6X the installed size, much more capable.

I’m a ricer, I’ve seen it before but it’s not as aesthetic as I would like, anyway if there is a way to customize it and put the logo next to the information just like Neofetch does, I could use it perfectly. Although I doubt that is the case, I will read the documentation to inform myself.

@Alexx Hi and welcome to the Forum :smile:
Is it neofetch or neowofetch that is installed?

Have a look at “man neofetch”:

   IMAGE BACKEND:
       --backend backend
              Which image backend to use. Possible values: 'ascii', 'caca', 'chafa', 'jp2a', 'iterm2', 'off', 'sixel', 'tycat', 'w3m', 'kitty'

       --source source
              Which image or ascii file to use. Possible values: 'auto', 'ascii', 'wallpaper', '/path/to/img', '/path/to/ascii', '/path/to/dir/', 'command output' [ascii]

       --ascii source
              Shortcut to use 'ascii' backend.

              NEW: neofetch --ascii "$(fortune | cowsay -W 30)"

is neofetch hahaha, sry for the confusion

thanks for that, this works :cowboy_hat_face:
