Hi all,
when logging I see a linux-a04i in the upper corner, and when im in the terminal, its listed as name@linux-a04i. This is a minor annoyance, but is there anyway I can change the “linux-a04i” to something of my choosing?

edit the file /etc/HOSTNAME
kdesu kwrite /etc/HOSTNAME
or gnomesu gedit /etc/HOSTNAME
depending if you use gnome or kde. There are other ways too, Eg Yast network settings
thank you, that worked perfectly
No problem. Happy to help.
Hey Carl, the contents of mine go like this: suse113.site
What’s the use/purpose of the default portion “site”?
Hi

HEY! Great minds truly think alike! That’s what mine says!
Or – do we both lack imagination LOL
