Complications instalilng gnome-panel

I am running KDE. Since I don’t like the given panel that much I am now trying to install the gnome-panel by hand (since yast doesnt offer the gnome-panel in its software list). One try after the other I get messages about this or that package missing. Is there an easier way to get to the desired panel? Which gnome package(s) do I have to install for it?

Hi
Not possible, gnome-panel is part of the Gnome 1.x 2.x series desktops
environments. I’m guessing your using 13.1?

Maybe something like docky would work better for your needs?

Good to know. Thank you. So I will take a look at docky.
