In the left pane when the folders tab is active the folders are displayed in an alternating dark and light fashion from one row to the next. This makes it hard to see for me. I cant seem to find a way to change those colors in the Appearance/Colors settings in the control panel. Am I missing something? I thought I had done this once before in a n earlier leap version
Have you installed an extra KDE Plasma Colour Scheme?
Which KDE Plasma Colour Scheme are you using at the moment?
Oops. Sorry, I suppose I should have mentioned that I am using oxygen5. Is that what you’re asking me?
OK – Thanks.
I’m also using KDE Plasma with the “oxygen5” package delivering the style with the following settings:
- Global Style: “openSUSE”
- Application Style: “Oxygen”
- Plasma Style: “Air openSUSE”
- Colours: “openSUSE”
- Window decoration: “Oxygen”
- Symbols: “Oxygen”
- Cursor: “Oxygen White”
But, I not seeing what you seem to be seeing …
- Can you possibly post a screen shot of a Dolphin window so we can see what’s going on?
I don’t seem to be able to do that properly
Ahhh. Ok, I woluld like the left pane to be all one color. Preferably of my own choosing
Really strange – my Dolphin looks like this –
And, I don’t believe that, it’s due to the non-English language choice …
But, I seem to recall that, there used to be a Dolphin setting that, did exactly what you’re seeing.
What happens if, you create a new, fresh, untouched, test user?
- Before you login to that new user, the login directory contents shall only be those defined in ‘/etc/skel/’ …
This is comming from the chosen color profile in systemsettings.
Breeze dark:
Breeze classic:
openSUSEdark:
Yeah but I was hoping I would be able to modify the colors.
