Closed to opensource

hi

for my final project i do (part time), i search company who have open its closed software.

my project is to show the impact that could happen on an enterprise when it decide to open it’s software, also i search the best way to do the move.

can you suggest me any company that i could ask some question?

The Blender project is code that was formerly closed source. The
community purchased the code and then opened it, IIRC.

You might try talking to them.

not really what i search because company who sell blender is not alive and don’t continue to have a release of their product…

You could also try Novell, especially as regards iFolder or FLAIM. The
former is a product, but the latter is just a component.
