Clementine on XFCE in 12.1

Strange issue that didn’t occur with openSUSE 11.4. If I attempt to edit track information within the music library in the left pane, after a flash of the edit GUI the program immediately closes (hard stop). If I launch from terminal the only exit information returned is segmentation fault. However, if I add the track(s) to a play list I can edit them without any issue. Haven’t tried with any other desktop environment so I’m not sure if this also occurs with Gnome, KDE or other. I’ve upgraded Clementine to Factory version but behavior persists. Everything else seems okay, and overall performance seems improved from 11.4, although the program is still pretty vague regarding missing plugins.

The only other problem I’ve noted is with the Pulse Audio equalizer, and that didn’t seem to work well with Banshee either so I quit trying to use it. Too bad since I really like the concept of using one global equalizer.

Issue resolved via correspondence with Clementine site issue tracker. Downloaded and compiled Clementine 1.0 rc1, issue resolved.
