Clean Install

Hi, I would like to install the new Open Suse version (11.3); I have currently installed 11.2; The problem is I don’t have a working internal DVD drive, but only an external one; My laptop is really old and I cant even start up by USB. I want to install this new version because my system in KDE is getting me a lot of trouble and I can only start up on Gnome because KDE is keeping a white screen and I’m not able to disable it.

Bottom-line: I want a clean install without a working internal dvd drive; What can I do? Thank you

Best regards

An upgrade from 11.2 to 11.3 is available as long as you have an Internet
connection. The steps are given at http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:System_upgrade.

Thanks a lot
