Cinnamon slow to start upon login and fails to apply themes

I installed cinnamon…

Upon logging in via GDM, there is about a 30 second delay before cinnamon loads.

I have tried to apply certain theme elements like icon sets. In themes or tweak tool, after exiting the GUI(s), it reverts back to the previous selection. I can only get themes to apply a desktop theme, controls, and borders, but the icon selection will not change.

It’s driving me crazy!

Also, cannot seem to get LM-Sensors to work for the one-click install.

I cannot speak for Cinnamon but I have lm_sensors installed and running on my system but I am on Leap.

Do you use this repo for Tumbleweed?

What is Yast telling you, error messages?
