any idea on where to find control-center.display?

As with me and others.
Is a known bug. Unfortunately, a solution is not yet in sight. Will probably take a little while until this is fixed.

You might wish to install and try arandr. It’s not clear to me just what you wish to configure. A display’s native resolution should be used automatically for virtually every hardware configuration that includes a single GPU, using only FOSS drivers included in the distro.

i am using a TV as main screen but it starts with 1360x768 instead of 1920x1080.
on other DE i use the resolution tool to set it to fullhd and the DE memorizes it.
using cinnamon i call xrandr -s 1 everytime i reboot.

i’ll check arandr

also, indeed the notebook lid gets fullhd with no struggle.
