I’m not a Cinnamon user, but I assume that you’ve seen this guide:

Once Cinnamon is installed, you should be able to select it at the display manager login screen.

yea i resolve in YaSt
I used YaST to install Cinnamon and already had Gnome on. I did that about a year ago. It is curious that everything has worked fine until about a week or so ago. Gnome Software Center in Cinnamon will not install software. It goes through the preparing and installing but never does display the password authentication to complete the install. Timeshift has gotten where it will no longer launch from Cinnamon and Gnome Disks will format but freezes on the mount portion. My thought is that I most likely caused an issue, but find it fun to have a puzzle or two to see if I can resolve. Linux of any distro to me is a fun exploration experience. All features work perfectly in the Gnome DE.
