Cinnamon - display settings not working anymore

Hello there,

I’m using CInnamon as my desktop on a Dell Laptop (Precision 5550) with both an i915 chip and a Nvidia Quadro T2000 video card.
For a few days now, I have troubles with my display settings app that won’t launch as it used to.

When launching cinnamon-settings from the terminal and clicking on ‘Display’, I have the following message:

Using pam module (python3-pampy)
Loading Display module

(cinnamon-settings.py:11846): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 18:55:36.057: Settings schema 'org.cinnamon.control-center.display' is not installed
Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)

I had no luck looking for the missing schema (it’s missing!) or even the package it’s supposed to belong to.

Both xrandr and arandr work almost properly. I’m not able to do whatever I want with those two, but I’m not very good at using them anyway. I’m able to switch resolution, which seems enough but not satisfactory.

I had the nvidia drivers installed (G105 or something like that) but it look like they were removed from the repositories a couple days ago. So I removed them from my system (by the way, my battery lasts way longer without them…) and I use the nouveau driver.

Has anyone a clue on getting my display settings back?

Thanks in advance.
