When trying to install Cinelerra from the packman repos an error msg comes up:
nothing provides libx264.so.98
For the fun of it.
I search for the latest libx264.so, which is libx264.so.107. This is located in /usr/lib64/
I created a link libx264.so.98=>libx264.so.107
The best way would have been to install cinelerra via command-line…
Did it via yast, yast complained re missing lib…installed anyway
Working…just need to test a bit…to be sure
Works !!! there are a few plugins missing which I probably have to place in /usr/lib64/cinerella/ manually…will see.
The reason I installed cinerella was to find an easy way to convert 4:3 to 16:9. Basically by cropping. A bit fiddly to begin with, but it works.

After reading this I informed Packman of the problem and they have already republished x264-98.
PLEASE!!! When you find a bug, report it to the maintainers. Using Bugzilla for openSUSE packages and mail for Packman.
