Chronyd seems to ignore its config file

The set of “chrony-pool-???” packages all provide a file named ‘/etc/chrony.d/pool.conf’ –

  • If, you remove a “chrony-pool-???” package then, that file will be removed.
  • If, you simply blacklist a “chrony-pool-???” package then, that file will remain – as it is …
  • If you then, install another “chrony-pool-???” package, the new “pool.conf” file will probably be installed as “pool.conf.rpmnew” …

Please inspect closely the contents of the ‘/etc/chrony.d/’ directory.
