Chromium not starting. Can't open libOpenCL.so.1

I recently started having chromium fail on startup with the following message.

jc@localhost:~> chromium
/usr/bin/chromium: error while loading shared libraries: libOpenCL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

This is a new problem for me. I have used chromium for several years. LibOpenCL is not a library that zypper knows about.

I’d appreciate any help resolving this problem.

libOpenCL1-2.3.1-1.9 is in the OSS repo and provides libOpenCL.so.1

That fixed the problem! Thank you for your help.

Seems strange that it wasn’t pulled in as an additional requirement for the new version of chromium. (If that was the problem.)

I cannot reproduce it using Chromium that is provided by Tumbleweed.

There is no need for OpenCL with default settings for Chromium.
