Chromium from OS 12.3 on a few machines is giving me ‘Aw, Snap’ - Something went wrong…’
Ironically it seems to be only Google pages affected
I am facing the same problem. Chromium on OS 12.2 and its only with Google services like Gmail and Google +.
I observed that it might have something to do with Hangouts. Gmail/Google+ load fine, only when Hangouts logs you in that I am seeing the error. Strange.
Chrome works fine though.
Having same issue with latest Chromium on Google Plus.
So for Google Chrome I’m having a issue with high-pitched sound and now this issue with Chromium.
Looks like I’m back to my backup browser (Firefox)
Yes, Chrome is OK here too
No longer having the issue with sound when using Google Chrome, so back to using it
It seems I’ve spoke too soon, just logged in there and Chrome is back to having high-pitched sound >:(
Apologies for any confusion.
Was having the same problem with my opensuse 12.3 install. I uninstalled and reinstalled chromium replacing ‘chromium-ffmpeg’ with ‘chromium-ffmpegsumo’ and adding ‘chromium-pepper-flash’. This has fixed the ‘Aw, Snap’ crashes. My gmail now behaves as it should in chrome. Hope this might help others.
Mine just came good
I didn’t intervene
Had this frequently with release 27xxxx Upgraded to 29.0.1530.0 (204313) and no further problems.
