Has anyone updated Chromium to the latest version (91). If so when it loads does it show an error ‘that it didn’t shut down correctly’ asking whether the previous pages should be restored.
I have tried updating Chromium from both factory OSS and the separate Chromium repo at:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/network:/chromium/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/
Both give this error. Have rolloed back to Chromim 90 and this works fine.
Any ideas please?
I have not had any problems with 91 until now. Normally I have three tabs open, all to devices on my lan. I just added an external website, shut the browser down, reopened it and got your results.
Darn. I removed the external website tab, shut the browser down and when I reopened it I got the error again.
Same here on Leap 15.2 with Version 91.
Same here with “Version 91.0.4472.77 (openSUSE Build) (64-bit)” on Tumbleweed. I did try reinstalling with “sudo zypper install -f chromium” with no change in the bad behavior. Has anybody filed a bug report?

Chrome did not terminate properly.
The window with the error pops every time I use Chromium top right.
It got on my nerves so much that for the time being dodged on EndeavourOS.
On Arch Linux, EndeavorOS, and Garuda Linux, I have that no problem, everything works or ran perfectly.
There is now an update to version 91.0.4472.106
Has the error been corrected with the update to version 91.0.4472.106?
The latest version has the same issue.
I still have a copy of the rpm for Chromium 90 so have moved back in the meantime. Funny it is such a minor issue but so annoying.
Could it possibly also be due to the new version of
openSUSE Leap15.3 and Tumbleweed and not Chromium? the errors do not occur under Arch Linux, EndeavorOS and Garuda Linux.
