I am using openSUSE 12.3 and Gnome 3.8 (having just upgraded from 3.6).
When I was still on openSUSE 12.2 I could use the Cheese app on different cameras by opening the Preferences.
Since being on 12.3 Cheese no longer shows me a Preferences control. I had hoped that updating Gnome to 3.8 this might be sorted out, but no.
Can anyone tell me how to get the Preferences back?
All the “settings” related stuff in various applications like Totem, calculator,Documents,Nautilus including cheese have been moved to Top panel. Yes,it is a stupid idea >:(
Hmmm. I am stupid. Never thought to look there. Things are going a bit like the Apple Mac
Thanks

Hi
On the top panel, see the cheese name/icon click on that… it was
probably there on 3.6 as well… (I’m running 3.8.1 now)
