Checking Midsum thing...

Hello again.

I am confused on how to check the midsum of my iso , I have just downloaded v11.1 , and im using windows, so how do exactly use it? It’s called md5deep.

Can anyone explain why my download could be bad?

Thanks again.

When I have to use windows I use the following steps:

Google for ‘md5sum.exe’ and save the first hit’s .exe file to
\windows\system32 on my machine.
Open a command prompt (start: run: cmd.exe)
Browse to wherever I put my ISO (usually my desktop… so, cd Desktop)
Run the command: `md5sum fileIDownloadedGoesHere.iso

The resulting jumble of characters should match the jumble of characters
for this ISO posted on the website.

That’s all there is.

Good luck.

Your .iso could be bad if you got an undetected network error. It will
be bad if you try to download a DVD iso using Internet Explorer.
