After “sudo zypper up” my laptop’s charge indicator became static. I.e. if it’s charged with 32% at the moment of switching on, this value willn’t change in use. It’s abysmal, and I hope u.

What does the following command show;
upower -i /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/battery_BAT0

So if you go into system settings -> power it (in this case should show 87%), your saying it stays at 32%?
Or if you power on at battery is at 87% it stays at 87% even when power adapter is connected?
If so check the system BIOS, there may be a setting for the battery and how it’s charged, or plug unplug the power adapter, does this make it change?

If you create a test user and login as the test user, does the issue duplicate?
If it does, then not really sure, perhaps a screen shot of what you see as well.

I had to remove and put the battery back…
