Hi. After a little bit of fiddling, I’ve been looking for a way to alter the ‘actions’ menu in dolphin - namely, trying to add some form of ‘extract with ark’ option to it.
I’m guessing I’ll have to edit some kind of text file that the menu gets it options from, but unfortunately I have no idea where 
Can anyone help?
Install kde4-ExtractAndCompress from packman
and aku from the kde4 community
‘aku’ wasn’t in the repositories, as far as I can find.
KDE4-extract-and-compress has installed fine, and is working - however, I’m having a problem with a passworded archive - it extracts into nothing. If I do it manually through ark, I get a set of empty files instead.
I know the password, but didn’t get given an opportunity to enter it as far as I can see at any point?
Was the archive created in Linux?
It’s possible to install winrar under wine if necessary, but not a pretty solution.
Not as far as I’m aware - it’s a .zip if it matters, not a .rar
Either way, it’s not too much of a problem, I have access to a non-password version, just curiousity mainly 
The main issue was the ‘extract’ options, which have now been fixed, thanks
