I have configured a network printer using jetdirect and generic ibm drivers. It seems that the default font size is 10 cpi; I have manually set up the printer to use 17.1, but the suse keeps sending 10.
How can I manually set my driver/printer to print in 17.1 and not 10?
I take it that you are talking about printing text files. Are you using something like gedit to print or sending it directly to the printer.
Gedit allows you to set the printing options for the printer when you print. Look at the General|Page Setup|Text Editor tabs.
I am sending text to the printer. We are printing from BBX straight to the printer.
I guess I need to modify the driver somewhere or pass something to the lp command to make it print using a different font size.
Please advise.
