I hate using my smartphone. So I linked my desktop computer so I can use a keyboard. Formerly, the link would last and I was connected after rebooting. But now it seems I have to re-link every time I start whatsapp-for-linux by going to web.whatsapp.com with a browser in order to generate the QR code. Is anyone else using this software, and is there a way to work around that so the link is permanent?
I worked around the problem by connecting whatsapp through Firefox. The link remains connected after logging out. This post can be closed.
