Changes in download.opensuse.org?

Hi! I’m not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, but the following link no longer has the files I need:

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security:/shibboleth/

Here is what it used to contain.

https://web.archive.org/web/20220814154251/http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security:/shibboleth/

Has there been any changes or news recently that I’ve missed?

You choose OTHER VERSION for the prefix of the thread title, but failed to tell us which version it is that you use.

Hi! Thanks for the reply. My issue is not related to a version of OpenSUSE, but the repository I linked (I’m not sure if this is the right place for this). To me, it looks like the repositories/security:/shibboleth was wiped.

The changelog of any rpms you installed from there ought to have maintainer’s email address you can use to ask for explanation.

Please, whether you consider it relevant or not, consider it common courtesy to include the openSUSE version responsible for your participation in a thread, particularly if you are the OP.

Hi
There was a round of project deletion requests sent out, very likely the maintainer either was not interested in maintaining and let it auto-delete, else did not receive the notification, likely due to email address, so poking the email in the changelog may not work.

Alright thanks, I believe this was the information I needed! Thanks for the confirmation.

Hi
You could create a progress ticket, email admin{at}opensuse{dot}org asking for the openSUSE Build Service folks to investigate, it can be recovered, just finding the right person to flick the switch so to speak.
