Change the application launcher icon

Hi,

I was wondering if there’s a way to change the icon that the new application launcher uses, to be honest I prefer the new KDE4 one rather than the OpenSUSE one.

Thanks

When you create the launcher, click the gear image in the left of the window.

That will open up a new window to look for a file to use as the icon.

In KDE4, there first option that appears is for system icons.

There are tons of default icons to choose from there.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for that.

I can’t see where you’d click the gear image though.

I right click the desktop and choose add widgets, where do I go from here?

The way I tried it was…

Gnome: Right-click on desktop -> Create Launcher -> Click on the springboard.

KDE: Right-click on desktop → Create New → Link to Application… → Click the gear icon.

I hope that makes it clearer.
