Change Splash Image on Grub 2

Hi i want to change the image that is presented to the user when i choose operating system on startup eg back.jpg i have looked at tutorials and no luck
i am running gnome on 11.3 thanks

The easiest way to do this for me is by using the following command :

gfxboot --add-file back.jpg

I am a new user i dont understand i have previously looked at that link aswell and no luck

It says do sudo apt-get install grub2-splashimages i put it into the terminal and i get sudo: apt-get: command not found

What OS are you using

gnome on opensuse 11.3

Most folks here that ask about grub2 are using Ubuntu with openSUSE
As openSUSE does not use grub2, you must have set this up manually. IF you did that, I’m rather surprised you are asking this question in the first place.

BTW: apt-get is from Ubuntu
