OpenSUSE Leap 42.3 here running Nvidia proprietary drivers. Everything looked fine resolution wise. Then I upgraded my video board from a Nvidia 420 to a Nvidia GT740. Resolution on the desktop and login screen still looks fine but the resolution of the grub, startup and shutdown screens (the green dots) is very low. How do I change this?
Resolution can be changed in Yast-boot loader section
Ah, I did look there before but didn’t notice the “Console resolution” option. Set it to 1920 X 1080 and it looks perfect. Thanks!
