hi you all… im from unix, i want to change mail server from unix to linux, ive already copy the congfiguration file to linux, but the mail server at linux not working… how can i troubleshoot the mail server in linux?
isnt dhcp, postfix, user or ip configuration???
please help
What Linux? You posting here we may assume tha it is openSUSE, but we still want to know the version of openSUSE.

What mail server were you using in Unix (what Unix), and which mail
server do you want to use in Linux (which openSUSE version)?
Your question is very imprecise.
Besides, there is no such thing as a mail server in Linux. There are
several services related to email, which you may wish or not to provide.
There is smtp, but there is also pop3, imap. Then you may wish to add
filtering.
