Change from Gnome to KDE

i am using gnome and i am curious about kde so i want to try and change it so i can take a look

how do i do this

Yast > Software > Software Management
View Patterns
Check to install kde-base and kde-desktop should add automatically too
apply

You need to have disabled auto login
Disable Auto-Login

Then at the login, after clicking on username look at the bottom of the screen to see the options to select kde

Simply install KDE4 Desktop from patterns in Yast Software manager. There’s no reason not to have both.

If you decide to stick with kde you would want to change this from the gnome setting to kde:
