Hello, I don’t know what causes my global menu to have such a transparent colored background whenever I access it.
It’s kind of a pain at how little contrast there is whenever you are viewing a light mode oriented page.
Not sure which application this is, “Delete Sheet…” is not on my global menu.
What did you do to get this “light mode”?
No clue, that’s pretty much what I’m asking. Is it from Plasma decoration? I tried changing it but no it doesn’t affect it.
You are still not providing much information to work with. does this affect ALL menus independent from the application? Or only single applications? When yes, which applications?
By guessing, it is some office application in your screenshot. When i open e.g. LibreOffice with standard light theme, everything is readable. So it is no standard setting but was somewhere (in the application or in Plasma itself) changed by you.
Basically what I did was that I added a bar at the top of my KDE desktop environment and i added global menu from widgets. The global menu shows up whenever an app is compatible with that menu on KDE. So yes, it will show up for every application.
I’m not able to reproduce that issue. So you seem to have chosen an unfortunate combination of colors/schemes, whatever. Is the issue reproducible with a fresh user profile?
Do you have menu text trancparency enabled in desktop effects maybe?
