I have a dvd dual-layer recorder. Linux 11.1 doesn’t recognize it. Does someone has an ides why ?

Maybe you need to do this:

YAST >> Security and Users >> User Management >> “select your user” >> Edit >> Details >> Groups >> check “cdrom” and “disk” and then click on “ACCEPT”.

I’ve done it but it still the same.

When I enter K3b a message is displayed, saying that he couldn’t find any cd/dvd recorder.

I have the same problem since 11.1, in 11.0 it worked perfectly
