Catalyst 9.3 and scrambled screen

Hi:

I installed Catalyst 9.3 on OpenSuse 11.1 64bit version and I got scrambled screen after reboot. It is not even showing the logon screen correctly. Is there any way to boot the machine directly into console mode so I can uninstall the driver or configure it?

Add 3 to the boot options on the grub screen. That will boot the machine into run level 3 - full multiuser no x11.

Have you had any success getting the driver to work, or did you decide to go without?

I really like to have the driver working but no luck all the time. I tried the fglrx from the yast2 and the one from AMD web site. The XEN just won’t take it. Without the fglrx the screen still look good just don’t have desktop effect. I decided to use it without desktop effect. Everything goes well on the Xen at this moment. At least my windows is contained in Xen and runs well.
